Yoga

Kirsteen is a joyous and compassionate yoga teacher. In her classes you can expect precision in the poses, breath awareness, options for every body, and relaxation techniques. Kirsteen has a special interest in yoga and creativity---so anticipate a playful spirit of exploration.

Her classes and workshops include Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga, Yoga for Relaxation, and Yoga & Relaxed Writing.


Kirsteen completed her first yoga teacher training at the Sivananda Ashram Yoga Retreat in Bahamas, and since has studied many styles of yoga and movement in Canada, India and the United States. She has been a yoga teacher for nearly 20 years, and a student of yoga for more than thirty years.

 

Current adventures in movement include a two-year Feldenkrais Method training program: Kirsteen will be certified to teach “Awareness Through Movement” lessons in 2023.

Kirsteen's yoga classes are fantastic!  She is my yoga instructor of choice.  Her voice is so calming that you can't help but relax and settle into your practice.  I have practiced with Kirsteen for many years now and no matter what type of yoga, the classes are wonderful.  I am currently taking online Yin classes and they are just what I need during this time of pandemic isolation.
